Islands of Imagination
27 OKTOBER, 12-16
What is the shape of travel, how does a home feel, and what does a language look like? “Islands of imagination” is a playful experience to challenge our imaginations and make design inventions for a newly discovered world.
Children and adults are invited to HDK to discover connections between materials, colors, and abstract ideas. With the use of fun and simple materials we will build structures for communication, travel, and living on imaginary islands. During the workshop we will switch inventions between each other and build upon each other’s ideas.
The workshop will be led by HDK Child Culture Design alumni, Elina, Vicky, and Marta who work together on creating events to support imagination, intuition, attentiveness, and sharing through design.
